From May to October, we welcome you and look forward to serving you the way we eat at home: local, sustainable, organic, ethical and seasonal Montana grown and produced foods. We care a great deal where our food comes from and how it is produced, and we pride ourselves on serving the best and tastiest we can. (We do not offer breakfast during our Winter season, October 15 - April 30.)
We are proud to offer you a unique Montana food experience, using only the best Mother Nature offers. Our menu changes based on availability through the seasons and we thank you for your understanding.

Market Day Foods and Quality Foods Distributing (Bozeman, Montana) which brings the best in local, sustainably grown and produced foods.
The bison breakfast sausage comes to us from Rancho Picante Montana Bison (Bozeman, Montana) grass fed and grass finished bison where they do not use hormones or antibiotics, practice low-stress livestock handling and sustainable stewardship practices.
The pork and goat cheese come to us from Amaltheia Dairy (Belgrade, Montana).
Some of our lunch meats come from Yellowstone Grassfed Beef: premium quality beef that doesn’t just taste remarkably delicious – it’s produced in an environmentally, economically and culturally sustainable manner.
Enjoy your breakfast with other guests in our Montana Seasons dining room, sun-filled east facing back deck, or on the Inn’s covered porch with spectacular views of Electric Peak and the Yellowstone River.
Our breakfast is generally served May–October. The hot dishes are available from 7 a.m.–9 a.m. in the summer time, and 8 a.m.–10 a.m. in the shoulder seasons, coffee is usually ready 30 minutes before breakfast, the cereals and drinks are available until 10 a.m. If you’d like to come to breakfast a bit later or are unable to join us, please notify the front desk.
A complimentary home-cooked-from-scratch breakfast buffet is served daily. The two hot main dishes alternate daily and vary according to season and availability; we usually have an egg dish and protein or vegetable dish. We have a selection of fresh baked pastries, hot oatmeal, cold cereals, yogurt parfaits, fresh brewed coffee, a collection of teas, juice, or milk.
We may be able to accommodate dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan preferences if you give us 24–48 hours advanced notice.
In the summertime, we offer Lunches to Go for purchase. We have a choice of sandwiches and salads or half of each. The lunch includes a freshly-baked made-from-scratch cookie, choice of potato chips and a bottle of water. We can provide guests with coolers and ice packs upon request. We will be happy to offer dinner recommendations, ranging from casual to fine dining, in Gardiner, Yellowstone National Park, Paradise Valley, Livingston, Bozeman and beyond. Please see the front desk staff for menus and more information.
